What prerequisites do I need for these courses?
The IT Help Desk Fundamentals course requires basic computer literacy and familiarity with common software applications. For CompTIA A+ Certification Preparation, we recommend completing the Fundamentals course first or having equivalent troubleshooting experience. Enterprise Desktop Support requires help desk experience or completion of both previous courses. Each program builds progressively on foundational knowledge.
How are classes delivered?
All courses combine instructor-led sessions with hands-on lab work at our Singapore training facility. Classes meet twice weekly for the duration of the program, with additional lab access available for practice outside scheduled class times. We provide all necessary equipment and software during training sessions, though students are encouraged to practice concepts at home when possible.
What happens if I miss a class session?
We record key demonstrations and provide detailed session notes for students who cannot attend specific classes. Make-up lab sessions can be scheduled to practice missed content. However, consistent attendance is important as each session builds on previous material. We recommend notifying instructors in advance of any planned absences to receive appropriate supplementary materials.
What certification does the CompTIA A+ course prepare me for?
This course thoroughly prepares students for both CompTIA A+ Core 1 (220-1101) and Core 2 (220-1102) certification exams. The curriculum aligns with current exam objectives as of October 2025. Course fees cover training only; certification exam vouchers are purchased separately through CompTIA. We provide exam registration guidance and recommend taking exams within 30 days of course completion while material is fresh.
Are payment plans available?
We offer flexible payment options to make training accessible. Full payment provides a 5% discount on total course fees. Alternatively, students can split payments into two installments: 50% upon enrollment and 50% at the midpoint of the course. Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or PayNow. Contact our admissions team to discuss which option works for your situation.
How is student progress evaluated?
Assessment occurs through practical lab exercises, troubleshooting scenarios, and knowledge checks throughout each course. Students complete hands-on projects demonstrating their ability to configure systems, resolve technical issues, and document solutions professionally. The CompTIA A+ course includes multiple practice exams simulating actual certification testing conditions. Instructors provide ongoing feedback to identify areas requiring additional focus.
What support is available after course completion?
Graduates maintain access to course materials and documentation for six months following completion. We provide resume review services and interview preparation guidance for students seeking employment in IT support roles. Alumni can also attend refresher sessions on specific topics if they need to revisit particular concepts. Our instructors remain available via email to answer technical questions as you transition into your new career.
