These Terms and Conditions govern your use of techassose training services and website. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Definitions

"Service" refers to IT training courses and programs provided by techassose.

"User" means any person accessing our website or enrolling in our training programs.

"Content" includes all text, images, course materials, documentation, and resources provided.

"We/Us/Our" refers to techassose and its authorized representatives.

"Student" means any individual enrolled in techassose training programs.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, submitting inquiries, or enrolling in our training programs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services or website.

3. Use of Services

3.1 Eligibility

Our training services are available to individuals who:

  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Comply with all prerequisites for selected courses

3.2 Account Registration

When enrolling in courses, you agree to:

  • Provide true, accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update registration information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.3 Intended Use

Training services are provided for personal professional development purposes. Commercial use, resale, or redistribution of course materials is strictly prohibited without explicit written authorization.

4. Prohibited Activities

Users may not engage in any of the following activities:

Security Violations

  • • Attempting unauthorized access to systems
  • • Transmitting viruses or malicious code
  • • Interfering with service operation
  • • Bypassing security measures

Content Misuse

  • • Reproducing course materials without permission
  • • Sharing login credentials with others
  • • Recording or distributing class content
  • • Plagiarizing submitted work

Harmful Behavior

  • • Harassing instructors or students
  • • Posting offensive or inappropriate content
  • • Disrupting class sessions
  • • Engaging in fraudulent activities

Legal Violations

  • • Infringing intellectual property rights
  • • Violating applicable laws or regulations
  • • Impersonating others
  • • Providing false information

5. Enrollment and Payment Terms

5.1 Course Fees

All course fees are listed in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and include applicable taxes. Fees are subject to change with notice. Enrolled students remain at their original pricing for the duration of their course.

5.2 Payment Requirements

Payment is required before course commencement unless payment plan arrangements have been approved. We accept:

  • Bank transfer to designated account
  • Credit or debit card payments
  • PayNow transfers

5.3 Refund Policy

Full Refund: Available if cancellation occurs at least 14 days before course start date, minus administrative fee of $100 SGD.

Partial Refund: If cancellation occurs 7-13 days before start, 50% of course fees refunded.

No Refund: Cancellations within 6 days of course start or after course commencement are non-refundable.

Transfer Option: One course transfer to future session allowed with 7 days notice, subject to availability.

5.4 Course Cancellations by techassose

We reserve the right to cancel courses due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, students receive full refund of fees paid or option to transfer to alternative session.

6. Course Delivery and Attendance

6.1 Schedule and Format

Courses are delivered according to published schedules through instructor-led sessions at our training facility. We reserve the right to modify schedules, instructors, or locations with reasonable notice to enrolled students.

6.2 Attendance Requirements

Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions. Completion certificates require:

  • Attendance at minimum 80% of class sessions
  • Completion of all required lab exercises
  • Satisfactory performance on assessments

6.3 Course Materials

All course materials remain the intellectual property of techassose. Students receive access for personal use during and after course completion but may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialize materials without written permission.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Our Content

All website content, course materials, documentation, trademarks, and intellectual property remain the exclusive property of techassose or its licensors. Users receive limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal educational use only.

7.2 User-Generated Content

By submitting project work, exercises, or other content, you grant techassose non-exclusive right to use, modify, and display such content for educational and promotional purposes. You retain ownership of your original work.

7.3 Third-Party Content

Some course materials may reference or include third-party content. Such content remains the property of respective owners and is subject to their terms of use.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

8.1 Service "As Is"

Training services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that courses will meet your specific requirements or that instruction will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8.2 No Outcome Guarantees

While we strive to provide quality training, we make no representations regarding employment outcomes, certification exam success, salary improvements, or career advancement. Individual results depend on factors beyond our control including prior knowledge, effort invested, market conditions, and personal circumstances.

8.3 Certification Exams

Our CompTIA A+ course prepares students for certification exams but does not include exam vouchers or testing fees. Passing certification exams depends entirely on individual preparation and testing performance. We cannot guarantee exam success.

8.4 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, techassose liability is limited to the amount of fees paid for the specific course giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Termination

9.1 By You

You may terminate enrollment subject to our refund policy. Terminated students lose access to course materials and may not receive completion certificates.

9.2 By Us

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately for:

  • Violation of these Terms and Conditions
  • Non-payment of fees
  • Disruptive or inappropriate behavior
  • Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, all rights and licenses granted to you cease immediately. Provisions regarding intellectual property, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1 Informal Resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, parties agree to attempt informal resolution through good faith negotiations. Contact us at [email protected] to discuss disputes.

10.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any legal action must be brought in the courts of Singapore, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts.

10.3 Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) rules. Arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in English in Singapore.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated through:

  • Email notification to enrolled students
  • Prominent notice on our website
  • Updated "Last Updated" date at top of page

Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms. If you disagree with changes, you must discontinue use of services.

12. General Provisions

12.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and techassose regarding use of our services.

12.2 Severability

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. Invalid provisions shall be modified to achieve intended effect to extent possible.

12.3 No Waiver

Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it in the future.

12.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to any party at our discretion.
